SOLAR PANEL installation process 

1. Design & Engineering (The Blueprint)

Before any physical work begins, the site must be assessed to maximize energy harvest.

  • Site Assessment: Technicians use drones or 3D LiDAR mapping to analyze roof orientation, structural integrity, and potential shading from trees or nearby buildings.

  • System Sizing: Based on your average monthly electricity consumption ($kWh$), engineers determine the number of panels and the inverter capacity needed.

  • Shadow Analysis: Digital simulations ensure panels are placed where they will receive the most direct sunlight throughout the year.

2. Permissions & Approvals (The Legal Path)

In India, this stage is often managed through integrated portals like PM Surya Ghar.

  • Utility Feasibility: The local DISCOM (Distribution Company) confirms if the local grid can handle the power your system will export.

  • Subsidy Documentation: Paperwork is filed to secure government incentives, which significantly lower the upfront investment cost.
